5.1 Magnitudes Earthquake Hit Oklahoma City

Early Thursday reports suggests that a magnitude 5.1 earthquake occurred northwest of Oklahoma City.

According to reports, people in Arkansas and Texas experienced the tremors.

Oklahoma City has had numerous earthquakes in the recent weeks. All under 5 so far.

The preliminary report says the 5.1M earthquake hit at 11:24pm and the epicenter was in Prague, Oklahoma.

A witness Scout says, “Yup in Southwest Wichita near 31st south and west my chair was shaking like crazy, I thought the cat jumped up on the back of my chair.”

Another witness said, “I’m by campus high school, my whole bed was shaking, wall decor rattled and my water shook in my cup. Definitely felt it”
