Missing Rochester Woman, Alice Dobmeier, Body Found In Retentionpond

Investigators searching for the body of missing 34-year-old Alice Dobmeier say they have discovered a body. Near the woman’s body were items belonging to Dobmeier.

The body was found in southeast Rochester late Friday afternoon.

Police and Fire crews recovered the body from approximately 80 yards inside a culvert by a retention pond off of 25th St. SE east of Broadway Avenue South.

Several items belonging to Alice Faye Dobmeier, 34, were located next to the body. Dobmeier was reported missing on Wednesday, March 6 after friends and family members were not able to contact her.

She was last seen leaving her residence in southwest Rochester between 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 3.

Based on evidence gathered during the investigation, officials say there is no indication of foul play. Upon discovery of the body, there were no immediate signs of trauma.
