Man Killed His Lover, Nunu Adams Before Taking His Life On Tobey Road In Pittsford

Deputies are currently investigating a possible murder-suicide at a home on Tobey Road in Pittsford.

Deputies responded to an address on Tobey Road Tuesday night around 7 p.m. for a reported shooting.

Once there, they found two adults, a man and woman identified as Nunu Adams, who were dead upon arrival. Their exact cause of death has not yet been determined.

MCSO believes their deaths may have been the result of a domestic violence incident, and said deputies have responded to the address before.

“We do know that there was an intimate relationship between the two,” said MCSO Chief Deputy Michael Fowler. “We know there was some struggles going on, we’re learning that from family members, so that’s why our investigation is starting at that point. But again, we’re going to keep all options open and see where the investigation takes us.”

A young child was reportedly involved in the incident, but was not hurt.

Deputies said the incident was contained to the house where it took place, and there is no danger to the community.

A portion of Tobey Road remains closed as deputies continue to investigate. Tune into 13WHAM News at 10 and 11 tonight for the latest details.
