President Bola Tinubu stumbled and fell while attempting to board the ceremonial van at Wednesday’s Democracy Day celebration at Eagle Square in Abuja.
Since then, social media users have been sharing footage of the event and voicing worry.
The President made his way towards the car shortly after arriving at the June 12 commemoration site at Eagles Square, Abuja but just before getting into the procession van, the President temporarily lost his balance.
But the president subsequently returned to his responsibilities at the current event, having received prompt assistance from his advisors following the incident.
The occasion was one of several activities held at Eagles Square to commemorate the nation’s Democracy Day.
