A woman and a man have been confirmed trapped and killed in a fire that broke out earlier this afternoon at a boarding house in Brgy. San Nicolas, La Paz.
The female victim was identified as Lynrose Sobretodo, 26 years old, residing in Pototan, Iloilo, working as a call center agent.
Meanwhile, the male victim was identified as Renz David Aguilar, 21 years old, a 3rd year Civil Engineering student residing in Concepcion, Iloilo.
Further investigation revealed that the boarding house had a fire exit on the 2nd floor, but it was sealed shut.
