A gunshot in the Douglass area on Friday afternoon claimed the life of a woman identified as Gabby Ford.
The Memphis Police Department (MPD) reports that when police arrived at the scene of a shooting on Friday just after noon on Orr Street off Chelsea Avenue, they discovered that a woman had been fatally shot by gunshot.
More information was not immediately released by the police as the motive behind the shooting is unknown.
