Woman, Taylor Lee Escontrias, Found Dead, Boyfriend, Christopher Lee Behal Arrested

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office has identified a woman killed in Park View Thursday as Taylor Lee Escontrias (McKee), 31.

Her boyfriend, Christopher Lee Behal, 31, also of Park View, is facing charges of first-degree murder, assault while participating in a felony, going armed with intent, and two counts of domestic abuse assault.

He also is facing charges of operating while under the influence-second offense and driving while license denies or revoked.

He is being held without bond in the Scott County Jail. A preliminary hearing is slated for March 22.

Scott County sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash at 90th Street and Harrison Street in Mt. Joy near the entrance of the Mt. Joy Airport.

According to an arrest affidavit, Behal crashed into a light pole. He was taken to a local hospital and admitted he had rank alcohol earlier, according to the affidavit.

The investigation into the crash ultimately led to the discovery that Escontrias was dead, deputies said.

According to an arrest affidavit, Behal used “multiple dangerous weapons” to assault her.
