There are unconfirmed reports going on that former Barcelona star, Dani Alves has killed himself in prison.
Social media users are talking about the incident but there is no official confirmation that the incident has happened.
The former for football star is facing a four years and six months in prison for raping a woman in a Barcelona nightclub.
The 40-year-old Alves was found guilty of sexual assault by a three-judge panel at the Barcelona Provincial Court for the incident on December 31, 2022.
The victim was awarded a fine of 150,000 euros ($162,000) by the court, and Alves was prohibited from going near the victim’s house or place of employment as well as from contacting her in any way for a period of nine years.
