A police statement has revealed that a woman has reportedly attempted killing her own mother by shooting her with a gun.
Police said the Jackson woman committed the crime at 4500 block of Whitehaven Drive on Tuesday Morning.
The woman who is now identified as 34-year-old April Hughes has been charged with attempted murder.
