A 3-year-old Ohio boy lost his life after being stabbed in a grocery store parking lot yesterday June 4.
Police in North Olmsted, Ohio, were called to the local Giant Eagle Grocery store parking lot around 3 p.m., Monday. There were reports of a woman dressed in all black “stabbing people”.
Once on scene, they immediately spotted and took 32-year-old Bionca Ellis into custody. She was still carrying the weapon she used in the attacks.
As she was being taken into custody other officers rushed to the aid of her victims. 3-year-old Julian Wood sadly suffered life threatening wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
His mother, 38-year-old Margot Wood, was also suffering from non-life threatening wounds and has been treated and is expected to recover.
Ellis and her victims did not know each other. There is no clear motive for the attack and it is being considered a random act of violence.
Bianca Ellis is being charged with aggravated homicide. She has no prior history of violent crimes.
